The 第九条 Office keeps information private to the extent practicable and will only
share information on a need-to-know basis or with your 许可.
是的. You can have an advisor of your choice accompany you during any meeting pertaining
to the College’s 第九条 grievance 过程. The advisor can be any person - a friend,
family member, or even an attorney. The advisor may not speak for you or on your behalf,
but may be there to provide support in understanding the 过程.
During an investigation, both parties have equal rights, including the right to:
- Receive a written notice of the allegations
- Have the opportunity to participate in the investigation, including presenting evidence and identify witnesses
- Receive timely and equal access to information gathered
- Receive timely notice of meetings and hearings
- Receive written notice of the outcome
- Have the opportunity to appeal the outcome
The 第九条 Office is here to answer any questions you have about the College’s grievance

If you are found responsible for one or more policy violation, you will receive a

No. Investigations through the College’s 第九条 Office are administrative investigations,
and are separate from criminal investigations. If the other party has also reported
the incident to law enforcement, a criminal investigation and a College investigation
may occur at the same time.
